Progress
I stuck to yesterday's plan no problems, times slightly out but kept the same amount of time dedicated.

Diary for the week 13th October
I've been sticking to my plans fairly well. My times are a little out of sync and I have not been perfectly planning. However - I have now changed my mode of transport to college, now going by train. Tuesday 23rd September
Got a study plan set out for this week. Not a good start yesterday - I was so tired after work I went almost straight to bed. Besides attending to the pastors alemans I did nothing.
This was the intention:
Review Spanish learnt today – 30 minutes – try for 2300 to 2330
Complete and review any outstanding Literature work – 45 mins– try for 2330 - 0015
Not very encouraging or a good enough excuse I know - but it's honest. Will get back on track tonight
This is the plan:
Review communication work or spend time on History work – 30 mins
Review Spanish from today / previous or post-its – 45 mins
Finalise decision and plan on which particular topic to choose for Investigating Europe – 45 mins
2300 – 0100
This is going to be my aim for tonight. As we have a slightly later start in the morning on a Wednesday I may be able to fit in a little extra time for catch up on yesterday, if needs be.
Any tips for how to find the energy to study at night when very tired please do share :-)

There must be a better song to sing
Watching Educating Rita was very interesting for me. It got me thinking about my situation up to and including college, and the changes and development that I am making towards my own future career path. I'm not and never have been a hairdresser but I have had mundane laborious jobs and was seeking a significant change to where my life has led so far.
I've not been a boring so-and-so by any means but over the past few years, but I have been feeling my brain slowing down and not getting used to it's full potential for long enough. Coming to college to start what will be at least a five year commitment in the long run is already making my brain tick again.... No need for the WD40 just yet!!
I missed out on going to uni when i was 17. Thank goodness!
"Eh?" I hear you say, but yes thank goodness.
Having not been studying for the past seven years or so has given me the chance to educate myself and what the real world is all about. Bills, debtors, working, socialisation and so on - in one word - RESPONSIBILITY.
School does not educate teach you those things. By living the working life I have learned how to communicate, how to get on people's wrong side and, more importantly, how to get back on their right side.
I think this puts me in good stead for my career path and the dicipline to get to where i want - something me at 17 didn't have!
TTFN :-)
